Replicate - Ground Loop Eliminator Pedal
The REPLICATE pedal is designed to drive two or three amplifiers from a single guitar or pedal chain. The main output is a direct connection to input, thereby providing load seen by guitar. Copied outputs are independently isolated from ground in order to prevent ground loops, which typically end up injecting hum or buzz into the signal path. Bandwidth is exceptional, operating all the way down to 10Hz, making the pedal useful for bass and synthesizer as well. Output impedance is superbly low, capable of driving long lines without treble loss.
Ground loops are created when more than one amplifier is used via their power cords. Such a loop can act like a secondary winding in a transformer, where noise currents are induced via magnetic fields. REPLICATE disconnects such ground loops by implementing internal opto-isolators.
